Join us as we celebrate the joyous occasion of Eid al Fitr, marking the completion of the holy month of Ramadan. This is a day of gratitude, celebration, and community, where we come together to thank Allah (SWT) for the strength and blessings bestowed upon us during our month of fasting.
We welcome all families and community members to join our congregational prayers and festivities. Eid is a time to wear our best clothes, exchange greetings of “Eid Mubarak,” and strengthen the bonds of brotherhood and sisterhood within our diverse community.
Program Highlights:
- Eid Khutbah & Salat: Two prayer sessions will be held to accommodate our community. Please choose the time that best suits your family.
- Takbeerat: Join us in the beautiful recitation of Eid Takbeerat starting 30 minutes before each prayer session.
- Community Social: Following the prayers, enjoy time with friends and neighbors. We often have light refreshments and activities for the children to make the day special for our youngest members.
- Zakat al-Fitr: If you have not yet paid your mandatory Zakat al-Fitr ($10-$15 per person), please do so before the start of the Eid prayer to ensure it reaches those in need.
Important Information for Attendees:
- Arrival: Please arrive at least 30 minutes early to allow for parking and to participate in the Takbeerat.
- Parking: Follow the guidance of our volunteers. Parking is available on-site, but we encourage carpooling if possible.
- Prayer Mats: While we have indoor space, it is always a good idea to bring a personal prayer mat in case of overflow seating.
- Sunnah of Eid: Remember the Sunnah acts of making Ghusl, eating something sweet (like dates) before the prayer, and taking different routes to and from the center.
“The Takbeer on the day of Eid is to show gratitude to Allah for guiding us.”
We wish you and your loved ones a truly blessed and happy Eid. Eid Mubarak!
