Join us for the most blessed night of the year, Lailat al Qadr (The Night of Power). Commemorating the night the Holy Quran was first revealed, this is a night of immense spiritual significance, described in the Quran as being “better than a thousand months”.
This special program at The Islamic Cultural Center of Greater Chicago is dedicated to deep devotion, seeking forgiveness, and community worship. We invite you and your family to spend these sacred hours in the house of Allah, reflecting on our faith and strengthening our connection to the Creator.

- Heartfelt Supplications (Dua): Special collective and individual Duas for our families, the community, and the Ummah.
- Quranic Reflection: Sessions dedicated to the recitation and contemplation of the Quran.
- Insightful Reminders: Short spiritual talks by guest speakers on the significance of the Night of Decree.
- Charity (Sadaqah): Opportunities to give generously on a night where rewards are multiplied exponentially.
Important Reminders:

- Sunnah Acts: You are encouraged to perform Ghusl (ritual bath), wear clean clothes, and use perfume (for men) in accordance with the Sunnah.
- Food: Community Suhoor may be provided toward the end of the program. Please check local announcements for details.
